League of Legends (LOL)

On the 28th of June, 1914, a single gunshot changed the world setting a motion chain of ultimatums, mobilisations and broken diplomatic channels that would drag the entire world into the most deadliest conflict yet. The delicate balance of European power in chaos was destroyed following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and the clock is ticking. Delegates will assume the roles of the Great Powers of Europe as they navigate trying to a navigate a web of entangling alliances, ultimatums, demands, treats, imperial rivalries and national pride to do what history wasn’t able to; figure a diplomatic way out of the July Crisis before everything spirals into all-out war following the catastrophic chain reaction that is occurring. Delegates will be able to indulge in backroom negotiations, emergency summits and decision making that carries the impending doom of millions of lives. LOL will allow delegates to thrive under pressure, think strategically, make high stake diplomatic decisions while navigating through history.

Anas Dhorajiwala, also known as 唐安泽 (Tang Anze), is a litigation lawyer, author, and legal researcher with 50+ conferences behind him. Returning to GCMUN with fondness and mild dinosaur energy, he now hopes to see newer talent rise, take over the mantle of chairing, and keep the circuit sharper, kinder, and better than they found it.

Archit Sankhe is a student from Mumbai with a strong interest in international relations and global governance. He has represented youth at various United Nations platforms and actively participates in Model United Nations conferences. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing football and keeps up with global affairs and public policy.
